Kelly

Registered Veterinary Technician

Kelly has spent most of her life surrounded by animals. As a child, her family always had dogs, and at her father’s house there were multiple cats. Becoming a vet tech was not her original chosen path. Since an early age she had always wanted to become a Dentist and then after doing her sciences at University of Windsor, she felt the desire to steer her life more towards animals. After graduating from the Veterinary Technician course at Ridgetown College, University of Guelph she started her first job in a vet clinic in Chatham, Ont. One year into this job she got offered a job at an animal rescue in Acton, California where she moved to work with various rescued animals such as cats (a lot of them feral), dogs, horses, donkeys, goats and rabbits. She worked there for a few years and then made her way back home to family and friends, bringing with her 2 dogs and 4 cats. She moved to London after getting a job working full-time at a Veterinary Clinic and also working part time at the London Veterinary Emergency. She currently lives in London with her dogs – Nola and Jolene and her cat Summer.
